Q: I like these designs but don’t see the vehicle my
department is getting. Do you have designs for my vehicle?
A: The answer is almost always “yes.” First visit
our Customization Engine to create your custom vehicle/design
combination. Don’t find your vehicle amongst the options
there? We can modify most of our designs for most any vehicle
but sometimes charge a one-time fee for this. Because the Crown
Victoria is the dominant police car today, we show our designs
primarily on this.
Q: Can I change the color of the design?
A: Yes, and usually at no extra charge. Go to our Customization
Engine to select your design and preferred colors. Create a combination
that you like. If the Customization Engine doesn’t show
the combination you like, call our sales department.
Q: I’d like to see a few of these designs mocked up
with my car and department name. Can you send me some drawings?
A: We have created a comprehensive and easy-to-use Customization
Engine to allow you to immediately see the design of your choice
with the modifications you desire. It allows you to view the design
on-screen, to print it and to email it. If, for some reason, the
Customization Engine is unable to provide the illustration you’re
after, we are happy to do this for you for a nominal $50 charge.
For orders of five kits or more, this fee is waived. Proofs requiring
significant changes to the design can be done for an amount quoted
by your sales rep.
Q: Are all of these designs reflective?
A: We produce any and all designs in your choice of non-reflective
or reflective Scothchlite film.
Q: Are these designs easy to apply?
A: It depends on the experience level of the installer. We do
not recommend a novice installing our graphics as any large adhesive
graphic requires skill to apply. But anyone with experience applying
vehicle graphics should be able to handle the task. Please show
your potential installer the design you’re buying to insure
that he or she is comfortable with it, and have them call us before
the installation with any questions.
Q: Do you have a network of installers throughout the country?
A: We do not. We recommend you discuss your job with a local
body shop or sign company who specializes in vehicle graphics.
Please choose this person carefully, as they are the largest single
contributor to the quality of the finished product on your vehicle.
Q: I love this design and want to buy it, but our city/county
requires multiple bids.
A: All designs you see on this website or in our literature are
the intellectual property of Grafix Shoppe and cannot be legally
copied by anyone without our consent. Your legal counsel will
agree with this assertion and allow purchase of our product under
a “sole source” provision.
Q: If our car is damaged, can I purchase the replacement sections
I need, or do I have to buy an entire new kit?
A: In nearly all cases we can sell you only the sections you
need.
Q: I was told you have a minimum order. All I need is some
unit numbers. Why should I pay $100 for them?
A: Because everything we make is to-order, even a few little
numbers are costly to produce because of material waste and administrative
overhead. Our minimum order is essentially the same as the “trip
charge” levied by a computer network tech who visits your
office, or the one-hour minimum labor charged by a body shop for
a repair which requires less than that. We encourage our customers
to combine orders to reach a larger size.
