Design of the Month

City of Mansassas Park Police Department (VA)

Our October Design of the Month is a special one. In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month Grafix Shoppe worked with Manassas Park Police to help transform a Ford Interceptor Cruiser into a “Code Pink” unit to support and help raise awareness about breast cancer.
Here’s an excerpt from a press release from Manssasas Park Police Department about the cruiser:
“The standard department police decals have been converted to a Pink pattern throughout to lend support for those who have been affected by the disease.
“Code Pink 944” is an immediate conversation starter, as nearly everyone involved with this conversion has known someone affected by cancer in some manner or another.
The cruiser has been requested to attend several cancer awareness activities in Northern Virginia to include hospitals and 5k awareness races.”
Grafix Shoppe would like to thank vinyl installer Brian Kovach of Auto Tattoo Graphics and Randall Caldwell of Atlantic Communications for their help with this project.
